As a small business owner, I am constantly pulled in many directions and trying to balance it all in a mere 24 hour day. I started our business doing all our own bookkeeping. Maintaining all the books and staying current on all the data entry took so much of my time and was certainly not my strong suit. Mt. Ashland Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community owned operation relying primarily on operational income, but also donations and grants to provide our services to the community of southern Oregon and northern California. As such, accurate and timely accounting is critical to our operation to provide the upmost in transparency to the community we serve and our Board of Directors.
